Dave Randles ~ bass, vocals, guitar
Nick Light ~ guitar, vocals

Red Dog is a folk/blues trio which formed in early 2007.
Pete and Nick come out of the late sixties contemporary folk and blues movement whereas Dave the Bass is definitely a Prog-Rock boy who's doing us a big favour!
Consequently, we have a broad spectrum of influences from Dylan, Pentangle, Davy Graham, Bert Jansch, Richard Thompson, John Renbourn, Martin Carthy etc to Yes, Hendrix, Clapton, Jackson Brown, Kelly Jo Phelps, John Butler, Jack Johnson, K T Tunstall, Dave Matthews and on and on.

We've tracked back to some of our early influences and put together a unique sound based around our own songs but including a broad range of favourite covers and one or two traditional folk songs, all arranged to suit our own tastes. You can hear us a number of pubs and clubs in the Dorset/Hampshire area and we are cutting our first album early in 2009.
